Hey, I'm Ric Hansen!

Here at the Ric Hansen State Farm Insurance office, we are proud to serve Gainesville, Ocala, Newberry, Jonesville, and the surrounding Florida areas with Auto, Home, Life, Business, and Renters Insurance, with a focus on resident relocations to the Alachua County area.

I opened my State Farm Agency in 2008, and my team has a combined 35 years of Insurance experience. Prior to that, I had the honor of serving in the Army and as a veteran, I am dedicated to helping those who have served our country. When I'm not helping our policyholders with their insurance needs, I love spending quality time with my family. We enjoy exploring the great outdoors, going on hikes, and embracing nature's beauty.

Community involvement is something that's close to my heart. I believe in giving back, so you can often find me volunteering at local events, supporting various causes, and actively participating in community initiatives. I strongly believe that being part of a community means working together to create a better future for everyone.

Oh, and did I mention I'm a die-hard Gator fan? As a passionate supporter of the University of Florida, you'll often find me cheering on our teams during game days, whether it's football, basketball, or any other sport.
